You invested in premium foundational wear, not fast fashion. Our unique fabric blend is engineered for exceptional durability, but maximizing its lifespan requires following three simple care rules.
Following this guide ensures your garments maintain their superior softness, shape retention, and performance properties for years to come.
1. Wash: Cool Water, Gentle Cycle
The best way to protect any premium fiber is to be gentle. High heat and aggressive washing cycles weaken fine threads over time.
-
Temperature: Always wash in cold water (or a maximum of 30°C/86°F). This prevents shrinkage and color fading.
-
Cycle: Use your machine’s delicate or gentle cycle.
-
Detergent: Use a mild, non-toxic detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals that can break down premium fibers.
-
Softener: Do not use fabric softeners. Softeners create a residue on the fabric surface, which can trap odor and interfere with the garment's natural moisture-wicking and performance properties.
2. Dry: Air Dry is Best
Repeated exposure to high heat is the single fastest way to destroy the flexible fit and durability of the garment. We strongly recommend air drying for maximum lifespan.
-
Air Dry (Mandatory): For the absolute longest lifespan, air dry flat or hang dry. Our fabrics are highly breathable and dry quickly, minimizing the downtime between wears.
-
Machine Drying: If you must use a machine, tumble dry on low heat only.
-
Why No High Heat? High heat degrades the Spandex and specialized fibers, causing the garment to lose its stretch and fit integrity.
3. Storage: Keep it Simple
Proper storage prevents friction and wear outside of the washing cycle.
-
Fold: Always fold or roll your garments instead of stuffing them into drawers.
-
Avoid Contact: Try to avoid storing your foundational pieces near materials with zippers, sharp seams, or aggressive Velcro, as these can cause premature pilling or snagging.
